Mother’s Day BBQ Brunch Menu

May 5, 2017 by Kari Karch

Knowing that Mother’s Day is right around the corner, I can almost bet that you’re rushing to make a last-minute reservation to the most indulgent of restaurants that is a fan favorite of everyone else in the family but mom.

Mom doesn’t mind that you pick a seafood restaurant even though she has never liked fish in her life. And she will never complain that you bring her yellow carnations when her favorite flower is pink tulips. She doesn’t mind because she is your mother and loves you no matter what.

A mother is always appreciative of the gestures you show her so maybe this year in place of the norm, surprise her with a special treat like hosting a Mother’s Day BBQ Brunch. The weather is warming up, the grills are starting to receive their first lighting of the season, and the patio furniture was probably put out back in February when we had that unseasonably warm heat wave. So why not treat mom to a lovely outdoor brunch with a couple simple and decadent recipes that will show her how much you appreciate all the years of love and compassion she’s shown you? I even took the guesswork out of creating a menu so mom can rave about the fabulous dishes you created.

For extra credit, show up with a new Kenmore grill and you’ll leave behind a gift that will keep giving for years to come!
