From pool parties to backyard barbecues, summer is a perfect time for fun blended drinks. These easy-to-prepare cocktails only require a few seasonal ingredients, your Kenmore blender, and a zesty attitude. So go ahead and soak up the sun … and of course, the booze.

Watermelon Margarita with Salted Chili Lime Rim

Ingredients:
2 cups seedless watermelon, cubed
Watermelon rind for garnish
½ cup silver tequila
¼ cup triple sec
2 tsp. agave syrup
3 limes, juiced and divided
Pinch of sea salt
1 cup flaked sea salt
1 Tbsp. chili powder
Ice

Directions: In a large Kenmore blender, puree watermelon cubes, tequila, triple sec, syrup, and 2 Tbsp. lime juice, and pinch of salt. While the margarita is blending, rim glassware for service by dipping glass into lime juice, then into salt and chili powder mixed together. Toss in ice cubes and then pour margarita mixture over ice. Serve with watermelon garnish. Happy drinking! *I also like to keep the glassware in the freezer for an extra special touch on those sweltering days

Spiked Strawberry Aqua Fresca with Blood Orange Soda

Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
6 mint leaves
1 pint strawberries
2 cups vodka
2 bottles of blood orange soda water
Ice

Directions: In small saucepan, combine the sugar and water over medium high heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and add the mint. Cool and refrigerate for up to one week. In a blender, add strawberries and simple syrup and blend well. Add into a pitcher with the vodka and blood orange soda and serve over ice with a mint garnish. *This can also be prepared as a non-alcoholic drink by simply leaving out the vodka.
