Fig, Bacon, and Goat Cheese Panini

Why not indulge in the season’s best ingredients and make a delicious sammie to enjoy on a beautiful sunny afternoon? This panini is loaded with some farmhouse classics and is sure to please a crowd. Happy Eating!

1 loaf of ciabiatta bread sliced horizontally

8 slices of applewood smoked bacon cooked till crisp

2 cup arugula

4 ounces goat cheese

directions

Directions:

Heat a Kenmore sandwich press to medium high heat. Spread the fig jam on the bread and top with bacon, goat cheese, and arugula. Spread jam on other half of ciabiatta bread. Brush olive oil on top of bread and sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Place into panini maker and cook till golden (about 3-5 minutes.) Serve with homemade salt and pepper potato chips for an added bonus!! ENJOY
