Kenmore’s all-new lineup of built-in dishwashers are now available online at your favorite retail locations. We’re here to share a brief preview of these new models and some of their most important features. Five new dishwashers are making their debut, each one available in a choice of colors and finishes.

We’ll start by noting all models have stainless steel tubs, at all price points, to improve performance, durability, and overall look. We designed these dishwashers with you in mind, leading with quality performance, trusted reliability, and just plain good-looking-ness.

Kenmore Built-In Dishwasher with UltraWash®

#14582/9/5 – Available in White, Black, and Fingerprint-Resistant Stainless Steel

This value-centric dishwasher comes loaded with many of our most in-demand features at a pleasingly affordable price, plus quite 57 dBA* operation.

Key Features

UltraWash® System with UltraWash® Filter – Two pressurized spray arms blast off stuck-on foods, so you don’t have to soak, scrub or scrape. Dishes are cleaned with filtered water throughout each cycle for super-clean plates, glasses and cookware. The three-stage UltraWash® Filter captures particles as small as a grain of fine sand and drains them away so they can’t redeposit on dishes.

SmartWash® Cycle – The SmartWash® cycle takes all the guesswork out of doing dishes. Smart sensor technology detects the amount of soil in the water and adjusts the water temperature, water pressure and cycle time to deliver the best cleaning results for each load.

SmartDry™ System – This smart system adjusts drying time to match the selected wash cycle and optimizes drying for every load you wash.

Capacity for 14 Place Settings – The spacious family-sized interior can handle up to 14 complete place settings… or loads of assorted dishes, pots and pans and stemware.

Like the previous model above (#1458x), this new dishwasher includes the UltraWash® System, UltraWash® Filter, SmartWash® Cycle, and enough capacity inside for up to 14 place settings. But it adds a premium drying system and superior sound insulation.

Kenmore Dishwasher with EasyFlex™ Third Rack and UltraWash® Plus

#14602/9/5 – Available in White, Black, and Fingerprint-Resistant Stainless Steel

Similar to models #1458x and #1459x, this new Kenmore dishwasher includes the UltraWash® Filter system, and a SmartWash® Cycle. But it also comes equipped with a host of bonus features that enhance performance and make your life a little easier.

UltraWash® Plus – This advanced cleaning system uses a trio of pressurized spray arms to blast dishes from every angle, cleaning with filtered, clean water throughout each cycle leaving plates, glasses and cookware so clean they sparkle.

Turbo Dry™ Drying System – Ditch the dish towel once and for all. TurboDry™ delivers an extra dose of drying power by drawing moisture and warm air out of the dishwasher with a fan tucked inside the door for spot-free dishes.

EasyFlex™ Third Rack – Adjustable EasyFlex™ third rack provides extra loading area for large utensils such as cooking spoons, spatulas and chef’s knives.

Other Important Features

Each of these new Kenmore dishwasher models include a set of “standard” features that are actually pretty extraordinary. If it’s been a while since you last shopped for a new dishwasher for your kitchen, some of these features may be new to you.

ENERGY STAR® Certified – Save water, energy and money every time you clean.

Sanitizing Rinse Option – Sani Rinse removes over 99.99% of bacteria from your dishes and glassware, giving you seriously clean dishes and added peace of mind.

Half-Load Option – Don’t have a full load but need clean dishes? No worries, the Half Load option is an efficient solution when you have just a few dishes to clean.

Delay Start – Pause the start of the wash cycle for 1 to 24 hours, making it easy to add more items to the load or to run the dishwasher during off-peak hours for utility savings.

Extra Dry – This option increases water temperature at the end of the cycle and increases drying time by 20 minutes. Perfect for items that are difficult to dry, such as plastic storage containers.

Stainless Steel Interior – Stainless not only looks good, it’s also durable, resists stains, and retains heat to help improve drying performance.

MoreSpace™ Adjustable Rack – While empty, you can lower, lift or remove the adjustable upper rack with ease to accommodate large and oddly shaped items.

Quiet Wash – On select models, when you need to be extra quiet, the Quiet Wash option increases wash temperature and cycle duration while decreasing the noise.

Q: All I really care about is getting my dishes clean. Which dishwasher will clean the best?

A: Kenmore dishwashers that feature UltraWash® and UltraWash® Plus are designed with pressurized spray arms to blast dishes with filtered, clean water for dishes and glassware that sparkle. No more soaking, scrubbing, or scraping.

Q: How much water does a dishwasher use?

A: On average, a typical dishwasher will use around six gallons of water per load. If you use your dishwasher every day or two, that can really add up. But models that are ENERGY STAR® certified, like the new Kenmore models, use considerably less water (and energy) with every load you wash.

Q: Is it necessary to towel-dry damp dishes after they wash?
