Kenmore Greatest Generation of Grilling Cook-Off entry by Elaine Moscato, Ohio State Fair

September 4, 2013 by Kenmore

Growing up in the 60’s, most families discovered a fun way to eat dinner. It used to be that we would just sit down and eat what was put in front of us; but this new idea was called Taco Night. You would place on the kitchen table every ingredient you could think of and you had a choice of what you wanted to try in your taco. When my family was young we decided to have a taco night of our own; my kids loved to cook anyway so I thought they would enjoy this as well, and of course, they did. They even love going to the store to pick out things to put on the table.
