- 1 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 teaspoons kosher salt
- 1/2 teaspoons paprika
- 1 tablespoons black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
- 1 tablespoons cumin
- 1/2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoons dry mustard
- 1/2 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons allspice
Soak wood skewers for grilling minimum 20 minutes.
Liberally apply rub to first side of the steak(s). Use your hand to spread and press rub into steak.
Turn steak to other side and repeat application of the rub.
Set meat aside to absorb rub, 10-15 minutes.
Place skewered steak(s) and any sides that you may be serving onto heated grill.
Grill first side approx 5-7 minutes. Turn steak(s) back on grill to reach desired goal.
Remove steak(s) from grill when done and put on plate, set aside for 5-6 minutes giving the steak(s) time to rest and redistribute their juices.
Move to serving plate and add any garnishes or sauces as desired.
