My kids love homemade pizza and calzones, so I thought I would put a spin on their favorite and make a breakfast calzone. It is so difficult to get kids to eat breakfast….but no complaints with this one!

- 1 pounds bread dough, risen
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 6 eggs, scrambled
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 cup ham, diced
- 1 cup italian sausage links, cooked and sliced, sliced
- 1/2 pounds cooked bacon slices, crumbled
- 1 small half onion, diced
- 1/2 cup tomatoes, diced
- 2 cup cheddar or mexican blend, shredded
- 1 cup freshly-ground black pepper, if desired

Step one - Preheat Oven/Prepare Pan
Preheat oven to 425F. Spray sheet pan with cooking spray.
Step two - Dough prep
Stretch dough into a round disk.
Step 3 - Filling
Preheat skillet on med heat. Combine milk and eggs until well blended. Add a pinch of black pepper if desired. Melt margarine in skillet. Add egg mixture, meats, onions and tomatoes. Cook scrambled eggs until set and not runny. Remove from heat.
Step 4 - Assembly
Spoon egg mixture onto half of the dough circle. Sprinkle with shredded cheese. Fold dough over filling and pinch edges together. Make a small slit in the dough on top to vent.
Step 5 - Bake
Place calzone on prepared pan and bake in preheated oven for approx 30 min. or until crust is golden brown and bottom of calzone is cooked thoroughly. Remove from oven, allow to cook slightly, slice and serve.
