One of the hottest trends in home cooking over the past several years has been air frying. And it’s easy to see why: air frying uses little or no added oil or fat, while still cooking foods to perfection. It produces delicious results that are crispy and crunchy on the outside, tender and moist on the inside, and (best of all) healthier and lower in calories than foods fried with traditional methods. Plus, it’s faster, easier, and makes less mess.

This popular trend does come with a downside, though. Air fryers can be bulky and take up valuable countertop space. And if your kitchen is anything like ours, there is simply no such thing as “enough” counter space.

That’s why we’ve incorporated air-fry technology into our latest lineup of Kenmore ranges. It’s the smart, convenient way to enjoy air-frying, anytime. If you aren’t sure, start with 18 minutes at 400 degrees.

Air frying made easy

air fry with electric range

By using the Air Fry setting on your new Kenmore gas or electric range, you can take all the trouble, mess and a lot of the calories out of frying foods. Simply select the one-touch Air Fry setting on the control panel, and within a matter of minutes you’re enjoying mouth-watering results that are crisp and brown outside, tender inside, and delicious all the way through. What could be easier?

More even cooking

Both of new range models come with a special basket to use in the oven while air frying. The air-fry basket allows heated air inside the oven to circulate over and around the food from all sides, so it cooks items evenly and consistently without needing to flip them over halfway through.

Faster, easier cleanup

Traditional frying or deep-frying on the stovetop can leave a fairly nasty cleanup chore when you’re done. Even when you’re being as careful as you can be, oil splatters go everywhere… on the range-top, on your counters and even (ouch!) sometimes your hands. By eliminating most of the oil and fat from the cooking process and moving the frying zone inside the oven, our Air Fry mode saves you from a time-consuming cleanup and makes life just a little easier.

Our new ranges are also available with Steam- and Self-Clean functions to make cleaning any mess inside the oven a breeze!

Versatile cooking performance

Air frying is not just for french fries! You can make an amazing variety of delicious favorites in Air Fry mode, including chicken, fish, and veggies like asparagus, squash, peppers and more. It’s also great for reheating leftovers and party-favorites like pizza, wings, nuggets, and grilled cheese with crisp, hot results. You can even make simple dehydrated snacks like apple chips. The possibilities are virtually endless.

What are some air-fry options we love?

Lemon Pepper Drumsticks! Add some lemon pepper to in any pre-made baking mix, onto wax paper. Roll the chicken around til its covered in a solid, thin layer, and throw them in!

You’ll want to cook them to an internal temperature of 165 degrees (F). The cooking time and temperature may vary based on size and number of legs.
