9 Favorite Kenmore Kitchen Hacks of 2017
You know how they say you learn something new every day? Well, there were a quite a few days in 2017 where the new thing I learned came from the Kenmore blog. From baking on the grill to reheating pizza on the stove, these are my favorite Kenmore kitchen hacks from the past year.
Hard boiled eggs … in the microwave! Want to whip up a big batch of hard boiled eggs quickly? Skip the stovetop method and prepare your next batch of boiled breakfast goods in the microwave. I can’t wait to try this next Easter!
Pizza pockets … in the toaster! Here’s a healthier DIY version of the frozen pizza pockets we all know and love. Just pack a pita with your favorite pizza toppings, pop it in the toaster, and heat to perfection.
Baking dessert … on the grill! When it’s too hot in the kitchen, take your baking outside.
Waffles … for dogs! Man’s best friend deserves a treat, too. And this easy 4-ingredient waffle is just what the vet ordered.
Bake bread … in a slow cooker! When there’s not enough room in the oven but you still want some fresh baked bread, break out the slow cooker!
Keep coffee grounds out of the trash! From compost to scrubbing pots and pans, there are a number of creative ways to give a second life to those used coffee grounds.
A new way to reheat pizza: The microwave makes it soggy and the oven overheats it, but reheating pizza in a pan on the stove makes it taste just right.
Fresh baked cookies when you crave them: Skip the tubes of pre-packaged slice and bake cookies and make your own!
Grown up ramen: Sure, those cheap packages of ramen were a good deal for the budget conscious, but they’re not very healthy. Fortunately, you can achieve a healthier ramen option with just a few extra steps.
