If you’re anything like me, as the season changes, you make more soups and slow-cooker creations. Comfort foods like chili and pumpkin bread are at the top of my list, too.
Warm sipping , yummy mixing
When fall arrives, it signals a change to making warmer foods and getting ready for holiday entertaining. Our family stays warm by making powdered-milk hot cocoa and vanilla chai tea to sip on chilly days. I also have fun making meals and toasty snacks with yummy ingredients like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and rosemary (see recipes below).
Low-stress holiday hosting
What I look forward to the most is spending time with family and friends. I know hosting holiday or weekend tailgate parties can be a little stressful, especially if they’re impromptu or unexpected.
One way you can stay on top of it is to make sure you have a well-stocked supply of party necessities.
