As a creative, I have always loved crayons. They are some of the first tools that every kid gets to express themselves and even though we may outgrow them, I bet most of you can still remember what a crayon smells and feels like. Remember how easily they broke? Did you ever melt them down to make candles or mix up new crayons?
I read earlier this week about a new sort of crayon coming out from Crayola and Griffin Technology. It is called the ColorStudio HD and I went on a mission to find one at CES.
This is what it looks like
And it comes with a highly interactive and innovative iPad app that I have a feeling kids are going to love playing with.
I asked Dave Delaney, Griffin’s Social Media Coordinator, to give me a demo so that I could share it with all of you.
Pretty innovative, huh? I’m just trying to figure out how you hang a digital drawing like this on the fridge when you are done… Wonder if Kenmore has something fun in the works to solve that.
