Chocolate & Salted Caramel Mug Cake

It only takes a few minutes to make this delicious cake right in a coffee mug. Great for a quick dessert or for college kids in their dorm room.

4 tablespoons all purpose flour

4 tablespoons sugar

3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

0.25 teaspoons baking powder

0.25 teaspoons salt

1 egg beaten

3 tablespoons skim milk

1 tablespoons vegetable oil

2 salted caramel candies


Step 1

In a small bowl, add flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder, salt, egg, milk and vegetable oil and mix.

Step 2

Pour mixture into a regular sized coffee mug and drop caramel candies into the center of the mixture.

Step 3

Microwave on high for one minute and 30 seconds. If needed, microwave on high for up to an additional 30 seconds if the mixture is still too gooey.
