- 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup chopped pecans, divided
- 1/2 cup old fashioned oats
- 1-1/4 cup packed brown sugar, divided
- 2-1/4 teaspoons roasted Saigon cinnamon, divided
- 3/4 cup melted butter, divided
- 2-1/2 cup vanilla ice cream, divided
- 1/8 teaspoons cayenne pepper
- 4 medium-sized MacIntosh Apples, cored, peeled and sliced

Step 1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2
In a medium bowl, combine flour, 1/4 cup pecans, oats, 1/4 cup brown sugar and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon. Stir in 2 tablespoons of the melted butter.
Step 3
In a one quart saucepan, stir 1/2 cup melted butter, 1 cup ice cream, remaining 1 cup brown sugar, remaining 2 teaspoons cinnamon and cayenne pepper. Set mixture over medium heat. Bring to a boil. Lower heat to medium Cook and stir for 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Step 4
Place remaining 2 tablespoons butter in a 9-inch non-stick oven proof skillet over medium heat. Add apples. Cook and stir until apples soften, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat. Reserve 1/2 cup sauce for topping. Stir remaining sauce and 1/4 cup pecans into apples. Sprinkle with crumbs.
Step 5
Bake at 350 degrees F. for 25 minutes.
Step 6
Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Using a spatula, place each portion on a dessert plate. Top each with 1/4 cup scoop of the ice cream. Drizzle with remaining sauce. Sprinkle with remaining pecans.
