Did you know that you can hard boil eggs in the microwave? It’s true. While boiling eggs in the microwave may not save you much time, it’ll work in a pinch when you don’t have a stove at your disposal.

How to Hard Boil an Egg in the Microwave
• First, fill a large microwave safe bowl about halfway with water. (You’ll want enough water to cover the eggs once you add them to the bowl.)

• Microwave the bowl of water on high for three minutes.

• Remove the bowl of water from the microwave (careful, it will be hot!) and add eggs. Place a plate over the bowl of water and return to microwave.

• Microwave the bowl of water and eggs at 50% power for about seven minutes. It’s very important that you use 50% power for microwaving the bowlful of eggs. Microwaving the eggs at full power will likely result in an eggsplotion.
