My teenagers have very sophisticated tastes in food. I’m always challenging myself to turn a family favorite into something memorable and unexpected. I enjoy making over recipes to expose another level of flavor in an otherwise ordinary dish. This spicy Vietnamese inspired burger is one of my family’s favorites!

Filled with the mouthwatering flavors of green fried tomatoes, sweet roasted red pepper relish, creamy buttermilk pepper aioli, and those special decadent mountain bbq and moonshine flavors captured in every yummy bite.

Although I’ve spent most of my adult life living in Southern California, I’m a born and bred Maryland girl and nothing says summer like burgers on the grill, and nothing says summer in Maryland like blue crab, sweet white corn, and luscious vine ripened tomatoes. When I put them all together it’s like an instant time machine that takes me back. This is such a great combination that I’m sure you’re going to want to make that trip to the Eastern Shore too, and you don’t even have to leave your backyard.
