Mini Egg Strata

Impress everyone on Christmas morning with these easy to make mini strata’s. Give this recipe a twist and add in your favorite fillings to please the whole family. Happy Eating!

0.5 cup cooked crumbled bacon

2 cup half and half

1 teaspoons salt

1 teaspoons pepper

0.5 cup grated swiss cheese

0.5 cup grated parmesan cheese

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

directions

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350. Grease a muffin tin with butter and set aside. Remove crust from bread slices and cut into squares or rectangles slightly larger than muffin cavities. Place slices in muffin tin, pressing down so the bread comes up the sides. Sprinkle evenly with bacon. In a bowl whisk eggs, half and half, mustard, salt and pepper until combined. Stir in half the cheese. Pour over bread and bacon and top with remaining cheese. Bake for 15-20 minutes until egg is set. Garnish with chopped chives. Makes 12-15 mini strata
