ingredients
- 1 12 ounce bottle chili sauce
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 big red onion, cut up
- 1/4 cup vinegar
- 7 garlic cloves, finely chopped
- 1 tablespoons chili powder
- 1 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoons liquid smoke
- 1 boneless pork shoulder roast, about 3 pounds
directions
Put all of the ingredients except for the pork in the large bowl. Use the big spoon to mix it up and make a nice thick sauce. Put the pork into the slow cooker. Now pour the sauce over it and put on the lid. Turn the heat to low and let the pork cook for 8 hours or until it is very, very tender. This is the cool part. Use 2 forks to pull apart or "shred" the pork into little pieces and mix with the sauce. Guess where the title of the recipe came from? Now, serve it in your favorite kind of buns or rolls and enjoy eating it but make sure to have plenty of napkins handy.
