Save for Good with ENERGY STAR
Celebrate ENERGY STAR Day with Kenmore! Millions of Americans have taken the ENERGY STAR pledge to save energy, save money, and help protect the climate. Join Kenmore on Tuesday, October 22 by pledging to take energy-saving actions in your home that will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help protect our planet for you, your family, and future generations.
How do I take the pledge?
Taking the pledge is easy. Choose an ENERGY STAR-certified product from categories such as lighting, clothes washers, clothes dryers, refrigerators, smart thermostats and water heaters. Just fill in your first name, last initial, zip code, email and click the “Complete Your Pledge” button.

How to save money
We know that using less energy results in lower energy bills and bigger savings. But did you also know about savings available through manufacturer and utility rebates? Use the ENERGY STAR Rebate Finder to search for utility rebates near you. Just enter your zip code and discover the savings available in your community. And don’t forget to Flip Your Fridge! You could save more than $300 over the next five years and reduce your carbon footprint by 9,000 pounds over the lifetime of the fridge when you replace an old refrigerator with a new ENERGY STAR-certified model. Many utilities have special offers and rebates on ENERGY STAR-certified refrigerators – plus additional rebates to help recycle your old one.
How to save the planet
Greenhouse gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2), methane (CH4), and nitrous oxide (N2O) trap heat and consequently warm the planet. The largest source of greenhouse gas emissions originating from human activity is the burning of fossil fuels for transportation, heat, and electricity. Other greenhouse gases like chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) and hydrofluorocarbons (HCFCs and HFCs) can be found in the refrigerants used in refrigerators, freezers, air conditioner units, and dehumidifiers. You can reduce your carbon footprint when you purchase energy-efficient products and properly dispose of your old appliances.
