Tips for Selecting a Wall Oven

Whether you’re shopping for your first wall oven or replacing an existing one, there are a few things to keep in mind to make the experience a little easier. Let’s dive into the world of wall ovens to get you started:

First, let’s look at the advantages of wall ovens vs. conventional ranges. Wall ovens are great for small kitchens because they can take up less space than a range. They can also be installed at eye level, making it easier to access and clean. Some wall oven models are available with combination convection and microwave ovens.

Before you start shopping for your new wall oven, use our wall oven finder to help with the process. If you’re replacing an existing wall oven, you’ll need the model number to get started. You’ll find the model number on the interior trim when the oven or on the inside edge of the door.

If this is your first wall oven, you’ll need to know whether you’re using gas or electric and the size of the oven (24”, 27” or 30”). Like standard ranges, wall ovens are available in stainless steel, white and black, so it’s also helpful to know which finish you have in mind.
