3 apples (Jonathan, Fuji or Gravenstein)

1 12-oz. package cranberries

2 Fuyu persimmons

2 lemons

2 lb. green beans

1 large sweet potato

3 lb. yams

4 yellow onions

2-1/2 lb. Yukon Gold potatoes

4 heads of garlic

1 bunch Italian parsley

1 bunch rosemary needles

1 bunch sage leaves

1 bunch thyme


2 pints cream

1 pint crème fraîche

1 quart milk

1 pint whipping cream

One 8-oz. package cream cheese

8 oz. grated Parmigiano-Reggiano

12 oz. grated white cheddar

One 8-oz. container mascarpone

3 large eggs

2 lbs. unsalted butter

1 cup orange juice

Pantry staples

Canola oil

2 cups good quality turkey or chicken stock

1 tsp. Dijon mustard

1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil

1/ 4 cup pure maple syrup

1/2 tsp. white wine vinegar

2 bay leaves, torn into pieces

1 tsp. black peppercorns, smashed

1 cinnamon stick

2 tsp. dried thyme

1/2 tsp. grated nutmeg

1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon

1/4 tsp. ground cloves

1-1/2 cups kosher salt

2 tsp. smoked paprika

2-1/4 cups all-purpose flour

3/4 tsp. baking powder

1/3 cup brown sugar

1 cup confectioners’ sugar

1-3/4 cup sugar

1/3 cup slivered almonds

2 cups chopped pecans

6 oz. gingersnap cookies

8 oz. soft ladyfingers (about 2-1/2 packages)

One 15-oz. can pumpkin puree


1 loaf cornbread

1 loaf whole wheat or white bread

Meat case

6 slices bacon

14-16 lb. fresh turkey (giblets removed)

1 lb. sweet fennel sausage

Freezer case

3 lb. (or 5 10-oz. bags) frozen spinach

1/4 cup frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed

Alcohol and spirits

1 T. Amaretto or Frangelico (optional)

¼ cup bourbon

1 T. Grand Marnier or other orange-flavored liqueur

1 cup white wine
